Hi, I’m Kristi. I pride myself at being human first, a nurse second, and a nurse practitioner third.

I have walked through life and experienced the ups and downs like you.  My passion is to show up and help others; this is truly what I think I was put here on this earth to do.  My most recent passion is helping new parents in their transition to parenthood and the challenges that often arise in this space. I would love to help guide you through this transition and be the extra support that is so needed during this time. I’ve been told by those close to me and my patients that I am a good listener and empathetic.

I have experience in many areas of nursing. I started my career working as a psychiatric nurse and in intensive care units. That has served a tremendous value as I have continued on my journey in health care. I obtained my graduate degree in nursing and became board certified in Family practice in 2012. I worked in many settings including internal medicine, short term and long term care facilities, family practice working with underserved population, urgent care, and pediatrics. After serving in these areas I noticed they all had something in common, untreated mental health conditions and a shortage of providers to see my patients. I wanted to provide better care and saw an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and growth. I began my training in psychiatry in 2017 and became board certified in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2020. I bring a unique stance in caring for you as I have great knowledge of both physical and mental health and how these often are intertwined. It is important to get to a place of feeling mentally and physically well and I am here to help you on your journey to optimize both.

My Degrees

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Post Masters 2020
  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, MSN 2012
  • Board Certified RN, BSN 2008

My Process

I will start our sessions by listening to you and your story.  It is you that is in control of your care and your continued story from there.  I am just here to help you get to where you want to be.

We will form a treatment plan together that feels good for you whether that be therapy, medication with/or without therapy, or alternative treatment options such as lifestyle coaching and/or supplements.

I will collaborate with other health care providers on your care team or help refer you where you need to go if necessary.

Personal Note

Outside of caring for you, I am a partner, a mother of 2 young boys and 3 furbabies.  I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside and exploring nature, and traveling in my free time.

I cannot wait to meet and work with you!

" There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't." - John Green

We provide medication management services with brief supportive therapy/life coaching. We do not provide full psychotherapy sessions at this time.

Absolutely! We will work with you to find a safe effective treatment. In fact, it’s our passion to work with expecting parent/s and those transitioning into parenthood.

Yes, it is required. Not only does it help in evaluating you but also helps build rapport. Most insurances also require it if you are using insurance.

Only for established patients of greater than 6 months at provider discretion. If you are a new patient, unfortunately we cannot provide this service. We DO NOT do long term disability or assistance for any legal issues.

We offer 15% discount on first visit and 50% off any follow ups. Which means your first visit will be between $250-300 and follow ups $75-100. This will be determined by how much time you wish to have with provider and will be discussed before payment is due.

We currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Medicare, Optum, Oscar, Oxford, United Health, Magellan, and Kaiser. Other plans will be accepted soon, please contact us for further information.

We would be happy to provide you with a super bill so you can submit it to your insurance company for partial reimbursement, however you would be responsible for the up front cost.

Copays and fees are due same day of appointment, having a card on file allows for efficient processing and allows us to focus more on patient care instead of tracking down payments.

Please seek care at the nearest Urgent care or Emergency Department.

The best way is to use the patient portal messaging. This is HIPPA compliant. If you are unable to use the portal you may call and leave a voicemail. Please note that providers are seeing patients most of the day. They will return your call as soon as they are able, within 48 hours. If it’s a complex issue, you will be asked to make an appointment. If there is an emergency, call 911 or go to nearest Emergency department.

We try to make sure you have plenty of medication and send refills during appointment times. However if something happens, just let us know and give us 3-5 business days. Controlled substances cannot be refilled outside of appointment, no exceptions. Also lost or stolen prescriptions for controlled substances cannot be replaced.

Yes, at this time we are only licensed in Washington and you must be in the state for your visit. Check back as we hope to license in other states in the near future.

We are humans just like you and will treat you with the same kindness and respect we would like. We listen, we are authentic, and we really do care.
